Every vacancy, guide and tool on FP is checked against its official source by a second person before it goes live. This page sets out exactly what we check.
The two-person rule
- The person who writes a vacancy or guide cannot publish it.
- A verifier, who is never the author, checks it against the official source and records the date and their sign-off.
- Our publishing system blocks anything that is missing a verification, an official source link or, for guides, a list of sources.
What we check on every vacancy
- The position title and the agency’s name, exactly as in the official posting.
- The salary grade, and the monthly salary: for national agencies and state universities, the official Step 1 rate for that grade; for local governments, the amount stated in the posting.
- The qualification standards (education, experience, training and eligibility), copied word for word.
- The deadline, and the link to the official posting on the agency’s own channel or the CSC Job Portal.
- The documents the posting asks for, and how and where to apply.
Our own plain-language explanation appears in a separate FP explains box, so it is never mixed with official text.
What we check on every guide
- Every figure, date and requirement against the official document it comes from.
- That the sources are listed at the end, with links to the official documents.
- That the guide shows the date it was last verified.
What we check on every tool
Our salary tools use the official salary schedules only. Before a tool goes live, a second person checks its rates and logic against the official tables using a set of test cases. Each tool shows its sources and the date it was last verified, and says plainly where a figure is FP’s own calculation rather than an official table.
After publication
- At the deadline, a vacancy is marked Closed automatically. We keep closed listings for reference.
- If a posting is withdrawn or turns out to be a duplicate, we take the listing down and send readers to the vacancies in that region.
- Every quarter, we recheck each guide against its sources.
- If you spot an error, email contact@filipinoprofessionals.com. We correct confirmed errors within one week. See our Corrections policy.
