We want everyone to be able to use FP, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim for FP to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We have not yet had FP independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have done
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can move around them.
- Every feature, including our tools, can be used with a keyboard alone.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG contrast ratios, and nothing relies on colour alone to carry meaning.
- Pages work at phone widths and when text is enlarged up to 200%, without content being cut off.
- Our tools work without an account, and their results are written out in text, not only in charts.
- We check our main pages with automated accessibility testing and by hand before each release.
Known limitations
- Official documents. We link to circulars, postings and forms published by government agencies. Some are scanned PDFs that screen readers cannot read. We cannot change them, but our guides restate the key information in accessible text.
- Advertisements are supplied by Google AdSense and may not meet the same standard. Ads never appear inside our tools.
Tell us about a problem
If something on FP is hard to use, email connect@filipinoprofessionals.com with the page link and what happened. If you need information from a page in another format, tell us and we will help. We treat accessibility barriers as errors and fix confirmed problems as quickly as we can.
